Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and sustaining our products. This involves creating detailed designs using CAD software, collaborating with suppliers, and conducting simulations and tests to validate the mechanical design.
* Develop mechanical solutions using SolidWorks and PDM.
* Create fabrication drawings using SolidWorks.
* Obtain actionable information from stress analysis and thermal simulations using SolidWorks.
* Write up test plans and conduct testing to validate mechanical design.
* Troubleshoot issues that arise at all stages of the product lifecycle.
* Manage accurate and detailed Bill of Materials as needed.
* Manage several projects simultaneously, project timelines and provide daily/weekly updates as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Key skills and qualifications include:
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other disciplines.
* A good understanding of mechanical engineering principles such as stress, deflection, sealing, tolerances, clearances, heat transfer, DFM.
* The ability to generate novel ideas and creative problem-solving to complex problems.
* Experience with Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is preferred.
* Experience with CAD modelling using Solidworks and Solidworks PDM is preferred.
* Experience with FEA, CFD using Solidworks is preferred.
