About The Role
The Grade 2 Occupational Therapist in the Falls and Balance Clinic provides evidence-based, client-centred assessment and management for people experiencing falls, dizziness, or balance concerns. Working within a specialist multidisciplinary outpatient setting at Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive assessments, identifying risk factors, and supporting improved functional outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments focused on functional performance, falls risk, and environmental factors.
* Develop and implement evidence-based management plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Independently manage a clinical caseload while contributing to coordinated, patient-centred care.
* Support supervision and development of junior staff and students.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, service development, and clinical governance activities.
What We're Looking For
* Registered Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
* Demonstrated experience in clinical assessment and management within a relevant setting.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and quality improvement.
