Job Description
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents in our aged care facilities. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to assess residents' needs, develop and implement care plans, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
You will also mentor and support care staff, stay current with documentation requirements, and work with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement tailored care plans for residents.
* Address concerns and requests from families and carers in collaboration with the Residential Manager.
* Stay current with aged care documentation requirements.
* Work with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for residents.
* Mentor and support care and service staff, enhancing their performance.
* Identify and address training needs for clinical and care staff.
* Ensure compliance with aged care standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Experience in delivering clinical care within aged care or healthcare settings.
* Strong planning, coordination, and mentoring skills.
* Ability to guide staff in wound management, diabetes care, and medication systems.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
