Join our supportive and innovative team as the PMI Data Integrity Coordinator, and play a pivotal role in supporting high-quality patient care across the Eyre and Far North region. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update the Patient Master Index (PMI) for 11 hospitals and health sites, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of client data through regular auditing, monitoring, and verification. Coordinate data corrections, merging duplicate registrations, and addressing queries related to demographic data and registration within the EMR (Sunrise). Extract, generate, and analyse reports to monitor data integrity, initiate prompt actions for identified issues, and process deaths and notifications, matched with Registry of Births, Deaths, and Marriages. Provide expert technical support and advice to administrative and health information staff regarding the Patient Administration System and PMI/EMPI matters. Support data migration and integration efforts as EFNLHN transitions to EMR platforms, liaising with internal and external partners. Deliver education and training to staff on best practice guidelines for data management and registration standards, assisting with quality improvement across sites. Contribute to departmental, organisational, and state-wide strategies for optimum data quality and compliance with relevant health information policies. About You Demonstrated experience in extracting, analysing, and correcting data within hospital or health service environments. Experience with patient administration systems and electronic medical records, especially Sunrise EMR and MS Excel. Strong analytic, investigative, and problem-solving skills with capacity to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively. High-level attention to confidentiality, information security, and privacy standards. A collaborative approach, able to work across teams and provide constructive feedback and education to staff. Understanding of health information standards, relevant legislation, and workflow in health data environments. Desirable Qualifications in health information, IT, database administration, or data analytics. Experience with Chiron PAS, Country Data Warehouse, Power BI, or similar data management and analytics tools.
