About Aero Refuellers: Aero Refuellers, a division of K & S Freighters, is a leader in the Australian aviation fuels reseller market. The business manages 30 airport fuel sites and delivers bulk fuels across the country. A key component of our work is the support of firefighting aircraft deployed during the summer months across Australia.
The Opportunity:
This is a casual, after-hours position for an aviation Refueller based at Albury Airport where the primary responsibility will be the refueling of aircraft using Jet Fuel and Avgas refueling trucks.
This role is crucial to our operations and requires a strong commitment to safety and compliance and is best suited for someone who is interested in the challenges of an aviation environment.
Responsibilities:
* Safely and accurately refuel various types of aircraft with Jet A-1 and Avgas using specialist refueling trucks.
* Conduct pre-start and safety checks on refueling vehicles and equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of fuel uplift and vehicle usage.
* Adhere strictly to all aviation safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Respond to after-hours refueling requests promptly and professionally.
Success Profile:
* HR License as minimum
* Current Dangerous goods license or ability to obtain.
* Safe Load Pass would be an advantage.
* ASIC or ability to obtain.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required.
* Compliance with all safety, environmental, and aviation regulations.
