Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Significant, demonstrated experience supporting NDIS participants with complex mental health challenges is essential.
Personal Attributes
Must be genuinely compassionate, caring, and empathetic.
Gender Specificity
This role requires a female support worker for reasons of compatibility and support needs.
Proactive Support
Ability to take the lead with gentle but firm prompting to keep the participant on task, manage time effectively, and maintain daily routines.
Communication
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for rapport building and clear reporting.
Documentation
Capable of writing comprehensive, accurate, and timely progress notes that reflect goals, achievements, and challenges in line with NDIS requirements.
Compliance
Must hold all relevant and current NDIS compliance checks, including a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check (if applicable), First Aid/CPR, and valid Driver's License.
Location
Must be willing and able to work in Horsham, Victoria.
