Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future. Downer Professional Services comprises three business units: the Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice, and Team Downer, which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence. Together we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defence and National Security.
We currently have an opportunity for a System Integration Architect in Canberra to work on Land Capability projects.

* Support innovation projects through proficiency in automation, scripting, and CI/CD, enabling efficient configuration, testing, and deployment across Defence environments.
* Produce high-level technical documentation and analysis, including system design reviews, engineering documentation, bill-of-materials development, and evaluation of COTS/MOTS and in-service technologies.
* Deliver technical training, resolve hardware/software/network issues, and support subsystem integration across Army, Navy, and Air Force technical personnel.
What You'll Bring
* Advanced network engineering experience with expertise in designing, building, and managing WAN/LAN environments across Land, Joint, and Coalition domains, and strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IEEE*****, and IEEE****** standards.

* Strong technical documentation and analytical skills, capable of producing engineering documentation, bills of materials, system designs, network modelling, and capability assessments for Defence stakeholders.
* Training and stakeholder support experience, including developing training packages and delivering technical instruction to Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel while supporting innovation and modern C2 system integration.
Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain an AGSVA Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.
In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
More than anything, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
