**The opportunity**:
We are seeking an elite Graduate Analyst to join a highly engaged professional Data and Analytics team, where you will have a career defining opportunity for exposure across all aspects of Funds SA’s investment data and reporting activities, over a two-year Graduate Program.

The Graduate Analyst, Data and Analytics will be part of a team that provides critical data management and reporting to the Investment team and across the organisation. Reporting to the Manager, Data you will work closely with all members of the Data and Analytics team, the investment team and key internal and external stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Assist in effectively and efficiently delivering data and analytics to the business
- Support the team on data enhancement projects that deliver key strategic outcomes
- Assist in the validation of data to support the production of performance and attribution analysis
- Generate monthly performance reports that monitor investment management performance against custodian data
- Contribute to reporting display and visualisation improvements to assist with enhancing the customer experience
- Undertake portfolio analytics of investment data
- Analyse data and compare results to market standards and strategy
- Focus on professional development by undertaking relevant industry courses to broaden and enhance existing skills

**What we are looking for**:

- A relevant tertiary degree in Mathematics, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar with excellent academic results
- Knowledge of financial markets and concepts
- Performance measurement principles and techniques
- A genuine passion for data analytics with a strong desire to succeed
- Sound analytical and research skills
- Effective communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to think conceptually and logically to solve problems
