Public Relations and Social Media Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Public Relations and Social Media Specialist to support our expanding client base. This role will work closely with our team to develop and implement public relations, social media, and content creation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing PR strategies, including media list management, media liaison, and distribution of press releases.
* Interview talent and draft newsworthy content, such as media releases, blogs, and articles.
* Schedule and manage social media content, including community engagement and platform monitoring.
* Create engaging social content, including copy, graphics, and short-form videos.
In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will assist with events and media opportunities, including planning, execution, and behind-the-scenes content. They will also coordinate with clients, talent, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and maintain organized files, calendars, and workflows.
Requirements:
* 1–2 years of experience in PR communications, media, or social media.
* Basic graphic and video editing skills (e.g. Canva).
* Familiarity with social scheduling tools (e.g. Loomly).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Ability to create/edit presentations.
