As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of colleagues and visitors on site. Reporting to the Emergency Services Supervisor, you will be part of a dynamic team that responds to all emergency incidents on site.
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the day-to-day running of the emergency services, medical, and security teams. You will also be responsible for ensuring that site-based and corporate policies, procedures, and plans in relation to emergency management, security management, and medical management are adhered to at all times.
This is a full-time position with a 7 days/7 nights/7 off roster, flying in and out of Perth. As an Emergency Services Officer, you will be required to maintain a high level of physical fitness and respond to emergencies as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emergency response principles and protocols, including rope rescue, road crash rescue, firefighting, confined space rescue, breathing apparatus operations, and hazchem handling. Previous experience in the mining and resource sector, emergency response, incident control/incident management, and presentation skills would be highly desirable.
