**About the Role**
A fantastic opportunity exists to join BOQ's highly regarded Procurement team as a Contracts and Vendor Manager. Based out of our Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane office, this role is primarily responsible for administering IT related contracts for services and products across the BOQ Group, including the Bank's outsourcing agreements.
Working closely with the BOQ service owners and supplier owners, you will be involved with various activities in the procurement lifecycle including planning, sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, stakeholder management, and supplier management.
You will be responsible for working closely with BOQ stakeholders when originating new agreements or assisting with variations to current contracts, and will lead or support reviewing and analysing category, supplier and spend data as well as performing market analysis to ensure sourcing strategies and outcomes support business and financial objectives. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised, as you will regularly liaise with business stakeholders and support functions, to obtain endorsement and approval on all sourcing strategies that have a substantial commercial, legal and/or business impact.
In the role, you will enjoy supporting market engagement activities with cross-functional teams to ensure best outcomes for the Bank and maintaining consistency and integrity in supplier selections.
Overall the objective of our Contracts and Vendor Manager position will be the delivery of procurement solutions that maximise value, manage risk, improve efficiencies and ensure quality for the BOQ Group
**About you**
To be considered you will have strong experience in IT contract management and procurement related experience within one or more spend categories in a contract management and / or vendor management role.
You will have previous experience overseeing all aspects of the IT contract management lifecycle including, but not limited to 'Go to Market' activities, proposal evaluation, commercial analysis, drafting and negotiation of contracts/agreements including variations.
Naturally you will have fantastic stakeholder management and relationship building capabilities, and the ability to tailor your communication approach across management levels and depending on the audience.
Financial Services experience would be a 'nice to have' but is not essential.
