Main Responsibilities
* Prepare and process a variety of fresh meat products, including cutting, filleting, trimming, and portioning to customer specifications.
* Operate meat slicers and other cutting machinery.
* Perform general butchering duties, such as mincing, sausage-making, and value-adding processes.
* Consistently deliver products to a high standard of quality.
* Accurately select various grades and cuts of meat to meet customer requirements.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the workspace while adhering to food safety regulations.
* Assist with product development as required.
Key Requirements
* Certificate III or higher qualification in a relevant field.
* Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a butcher.
* Exceptional knife skills and attention to detail.
* Robust knowledge of meat cutting and processing techniques.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Outstanding time management abilities.
* Flexibility to work across our store locations.
* Valid working rights in Australia.
Pay
$80,****** - $85,****** per year
