RESTORE Intensive Family Services is a voluntary, strength-based program that partners with families experiencing complex challenges to improve safety, wellbeing, and family functioning. The service focuses on repairing relationships, empowering parents, and keeping children safely at home through trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and multidisciplinary support.
As a Clinical Nurse (CN) in the RESTORE team, you'll deliver holistic health assessments, education, and interventions directly in family homes. You'll play a vital role in identifying health and developmental needs, promoting health literacy, and reconnecting families with essential health and community services. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute your clinical expertise to enhance child safety, family stability, and long-term wellbeing.
What you need to bring Essential
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
* Knowledge of Child Protection Legislation
* Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Ability to undertake some work out of standard work hours when required
Desirable
* Experience working with vulnerable families with complex needs
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary setting
* Sound theoretical knowledge of the impact of childhood trauma and factors affecting development and attachment
* Strongly desired experience in paediatrics, mental health, family and child health
