Disability Plan Coordinator Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Plan Coordinator to support our planning network through the delivery of core initiatives and projects.
* Review participant records and make informed funding decisions based on policies, practice guidance, and legislation to minimize overspending.
* Engage with participants and their representatives via phone to gather information about current circumstances and spending patterns.
* Maintain accurate and high-quality records, utilizing IT systems and adhering to established process guidelines and standard operating procedures.
* Analyze decisions and manage moderately complex cases with assistance from higher classification staff members.
* Complete administrative tasks and data entry related to participants.
* Contribute to achieving key performance indicators, including planning targets.
About You:
* A minimum of prior experience in a Planner, Support Coordinator, Local Area Coordinator, Disability Employment Consultant, or similar role is required.
* A background in disability or public sector is highly valued.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) are essential for success in this position.
* The ability to manage difficult conversations is necessary.
* Proficiency in using MS Office products is expected.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines are crucial.
