Job Description
* Create interesting and nutritious meal plans for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.
* Prepare a variety of meals and purees while considering dietary requirements for babies and children.
* Effectively manage the kitchen, including stock rotation, budgeting, and shopping.
* Maintain the highest level of food safety and supervision in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
* Mentor and guide a kitchen hand in a professional environment.
* Collaborate with Educators to provide thoughtful culinary classes for little learners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtain.
* Current State relevant Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain.
* Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain.
* Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain.
* Excellent verbal, written, and time management skills.
