Join a Trusted, Independent MSP That’s Been Getting IT Right for 30 Years
At Netspan, we don’t just keep systems running—we build long-term relationships and deliver rock-solid IT outcomes. We're now looking for an experienced Level 3 Systems Administrator who thrives in a role where no two days are the same. If you're someone who loves solving complex problems, wants more autonomy, and enjoys building trusted relationships with clients—not just closing tickets—then we want to hear from you.
About the Role
- Deliver high-level support and project work across our client base as a key player in the engineering team.
- Work across a mix of remote and onsite engagements with scope to shape outcomes and contribute ideas alongside senior peers.
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support across a range of technologies.
- Manage issues onsite and remotely for clients across Melbourne.
- Play a hands-on role in systems upgrades, migrations, and project deployments.
- Support and mentor junior technicians as required.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Build trusted relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to deliver seamless outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior technical support or systems admin role.
- Proven experience in an MSP or fast-paced, multi-client environment.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Strong experience with Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange.
- Proficiency in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and backup systems.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, VPNs, WatchGuard/firewalls preferred).
- High-level troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication skills—you’re comfortable talking to business and tech stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, juggle priorities, and follow through.
- Experience designing and delivering Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions.
- Exposure to WatchGuard and other enterprise-grade security solutions.
