About the Role
The Senior Podiatrist models the provision of community-centered, culturally responsive, safe, and high-quality podiatry services to clients across Congress’ town and remote clinics. The Senior Podiatrist takes a leadership role within the podiatry team through supervision, quality-improvement, and comprehensive podiatric service delivery.
What we are looking for?
* Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality podiatric assessment and intervention for clients within the context of primary health care in a professional, confidential and culturally safe manner.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team with experience in supervising and mentoring other health professionals.
* Knowledge and experience in planning, implementing and evaluating high risk foot programs using the principles of primary health care and Community-Control.
* A comprehensive understanding of the historical, social, and cultural determinants impacting the health of Aboriginal people and a strong commitment to improving health outcomes.
* Current NT drivers licence and ability to travel to remote areas.
