What You'll Be Doing:
You'll provide trusted, respectful support to Elders helping them live safely and comfortably at home and in community.
* Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
* Transportation and Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
* Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
* Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe
Who We're Looking For
* A compassionate, respectful, and reliable carer
* Holds a valid Australian driver's licenceand has a reliable car
* Brings empathy, cultural awareness and a willingness to learn
* Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply
* Non-Aboriginal carers committed to culturally safe care are also welcome
* Both experienced and entry-level carers encouraged to apply
