The Technology (IT), Sustainability, Agile & Continuous Improvement, and Strategy & Strategic Execution functions form a key portfolio.Reporting to the Head of Strategic Execution, the Retail Life Insurance Delivery Manager ensures efficient delivery within a business segment by driving teams towards delivery objectives, mitigating risks, managing dependencies, and fostering collaboration across squads, crews, or enterprise shared service functions.You will own the segment delivery plan, including timelines, deliverables, milestones, and relevant tracking, reporting, and insights.
By fostering an environment of continuous improvement, feedback, and team empowerment, the Segment Delivery Manager contributes significantly to the organisation's overall success, aligned with the Zurich Way, our Agile and Value-Driven Delivery framework.Let's create a brighter future together, let's make a differenceTo succeed in this role, you will have:Tertiary qualifications, including Certified Scrum MasterUnderstanding and application of Agile methodologies, tools, and techniques at scaleKnowledge of Product Management within Agile frameworksA proven track record of continuous improvement and problem-solving capabilitiesProficiency in delivery management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Bitbucket, aligned with CI/CD and DevSecOps best practicesStrong leadership skills, proactive expectation management, and independent issue resolutionAbility to coordinate team delivery plans using agile practices and mindsets; knowledge of information management, SDLC, IT services, and lean methodologiesExperience with enterprise-level digital transformationExperience managing and coordinating software release cycles (preferred)Belong.
