Project Administrator (Construction/Electrical Services)
Site based project admin role, located outer northern suburbs. Construction card preferred.
Position: Project Administrator
Hours: 8AM - 4.30PM (Half hr lunch)
Duration: Labour hire through Red Appointments - 3 to 6 months requirement, potential longer
Location: Working at project site located outer northern suburbs of Adelaide
This casual labour hire opportunity involves providing key support to Project Management Teams and is a central point for tracking project staff, project variations and setting up and maintaining project files. You will ensure all project information is up-to-date and readily accessible.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Receiving all incoming correspondence for distribution and filing, and preparing all outgoing correspondence
* Attending and minuting meetings as required
* Preparation of Operation & Maintenance manuals
* Document control (including Quality Assurance), filing, report and document preparation
* Support administration of labour requirements for projects including timesheet collation
* Administration and preparation for client/subcontractor correspondence review and submissions
* Management of shop drawings
* Tracking delivering of major items and setting up follow up schedules as well as other office supplies
* Setting up and managing project files
* Preparing schedules and maintaining registers
* Ensuring compliance with all required internal policies and procedures, including HSE requirements
* Administrative duties including data entry
Skills and experience required:
* Previous experience as a Project Administrator within construction services and/or electrical services
* Previous experience providing administration specifically on a defence project or contract is highly advantageous
* IT literate with MS Suite, particularly with MS Excel
* Cert IV in Administration preferred
* White Card/ GCI - General Construction Induction card already held or willing to obtain (1 day classroom-based course)
* Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to follow routine processes
* Ideally you will already have base level defence clearance (DCAC - Defence Common Access Card) or be able to secure base level defence clearance (You will currently hold Australian citizenship).
You will be offering high level project administrative support to both individuals and teams coupled with excellent attention to detail and time management skills. You will possess highly developed communication skills with the ability to confidently liaise with people at all levels including interfacing with the client. You will pride yourself on your strong work ethic and helpful, can do attitude.
IMMEDIATE START: As this is a casual labour hire role you will need to be able to commence immediately and commit for the next three to six months (ideally longer)
