Pharmacist Opportunity
Mackay Hospital and Health Service provides health services in a range of regional, community and rural settings.
We are seeking pharmacists to join our team on a casual and temporary basis. This opportunity will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future roles within the Pharmacy Department at Mackay Base Hospital.
About the Role
The successful applicant will provide optimised pharmaceutical care for clients/carers within the hospital, facilitating links between the healthcare team and patients. This role is patient-centred and aims to promote quality medication use.
About the Team
Our pharmacy service is based at Mackay Base Hospital and provides seven-day-a-week patient-centred pharmacy services. We offer medication on hospital prescriptions for use while patients are in hospital.
