About the role

This position is a casual role in the Creative Arts and Development team, based at Council's Moruya Administration Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of Council's annual creative arts program, providing high‐level administrative, program and event support, and helping ensure the smooth coordination of creative arts activities and exhibitions.

The starting salary for this position is $54.41 per hour, inclusive of casual loading, plus 12% superannuation

About you

You'll be someone who enjoys working in a creative, community‐focused environment and takes pride in supporting engaging arts programs and events. You will bring a mix of strong administration skills, creative thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively with artists, community partners and colleagues.

We're looking for someone who has:

* An arts qualification or equivalent experience in innovative arts programs or similar administration.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience coordinating exhibitions and events.
* Strong administrative skills, including the ability to oversee small projects and prioritise workloads with minimal supervision.
* Ability to apply innovative solutions and make effective decisions.
* Competence in desktop publishing, records management and data management using Microsoft Office programs.
