The Role:
As the Head Stockman at Stanbroke, you will lead and manage all aspects of livestock operations across our Northern Queensland properties. This includes coordinating cattle mustering, drafting, and handling, overseeing animal welfare, and maintaining property infrastructure.
* Lead and coordinate daily livestock operations, including mustering, drafting, and handling cattle.
* Oversee the health, welfare, and productivity of livestock, ensuring optimal performance.
* Train, mentor, and supervise station staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
* Manage property maintenance, including fencing, water systems, and infrastructure.
* Operate and maintain station vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
