Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to support our contract in Corio, Victoria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key financial processes, including accounts receivable, payroll, month-end closure, and budgeting.
This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months on a full-time basis.
About the Role
* Manage end-of-month reporting, cost-to-revenue analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to ensure accurate financial insights.
* Pursue timely and accurate payroll management in line with the Enterprise Agreement.
* Administer accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
* Perform month-end tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Maintain vendor service master records within designated systems.
* Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Maintain and update financial and payroll systems to ensure data integrity and security.
* Analyse financial data to identify trends and investigate discrepancies to support project performance and strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting or equivalent field.
* Proven experience in financial management of contracts.
* Familiarity with financial/accounting systems and processes to service contracts.
* Experience in SAP and high literacy in MS Excel and Word.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with stakeholders.
* Ability to complete and pass a National Police check to meet contractual requirements.
