Overview

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Division of Surgical Specialties and Anaesthetic as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. This role provides leadership experience, strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, demonstrated ability to lead and mentor nursing teams, and a commitment to quality improvement and patient safety.

This position is part of a dynamic, growing healthcare network where you will be part of a supportive team delivering high-quality care to the community. The successful candidate will possess the necessary skills and qualifications to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead and mentor nursing teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.


Requirements

* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Current practicing certificate.
* Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
* Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to lead and mentor nursing teams.
