The Transition Program Manager is responsible for leading the transition and mobilisation of complex managed services engagements, ensuring a controlled and predictable progression from contract signature to stable, in-life service.

This role is accountable for transitioning into, and enabling, transformed managed services, ensuring the service organisation, customer, and technology landscape are operationally ready to realise transformation outcomes.

The role requires a senior leader with proven capability to manage high risk, commercially significant enterprise deals, strong pre-sales experience, and the credibility to lead at executive and global deal level.

About the role
* Lead end‐to‐end transition and mobilisation programs for large, complex managed services engagements, from contract signature through to steady‐state operations.
* Design and execute transition strategies that enable the successful adoption of transformed managed services operating models.
* Establish governance, controls, and reporting, appropriate to high risk, high value enterprise and global deals.
* Partner with Sales, Solution Architecture, Commercial, and Delivery teams during presales to shape executable transition and mobilisation approaches.
* Provide expert input into transition scope, timelines, assumptions, dependencies, resourcing, and cost models.
* Engage with customers during bids and negotiations to explain the transition approach, risk mitigations, and readiness for transformed managed services.
* Ensure active financial control throughout the transition lifecycle, including forecasting and variance management.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, including executive and C‐suite sponsors.
* Lead customer communications throughout transition, ensuring transparency, confidence, and alignment.
About you
* 10+ years' experience in senior program or project leadership within managed services, digital delivery, or technology services environments.
* 5+ years' experience leading complex service transition and mobilisation programs.
* Proven delivery of medium to large‐scale, high‐risk enterprise transitions, ideally involving multi‐tower or global services.
* Demonstrated presales experience, including deal shaping, bid input, transition costing, and customer engagement.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing program budgets and influencing deal outcomes.
* Experience transitioning managed services into modernised or digitally transformed operating environments.
