Bega is the rural heartland of the Sapphire Coast, halfway between Melbourne and Sydney, with easy access to beaches and national parks and a short drive to Canberra.
What You'll Be Doing
The Registered Nurse using best practice evidence delivers person-centred nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team. Provides supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve people-focused quality care.
Selection Criteria
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Competencies and knowledge for nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.
* Effective clinical communication through information technology, written and verbal means; strong interpersonal skills with professional conduct.
* Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement person-centred care with a commitment to quality improvement.
* Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate to deliver quality nursing care; willingness to lead and embrace change in care coordination.
* Recent clinical experience relevant to the position with ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.
* Ability to prioritise and organise workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability.
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination
This is a Category A position; read NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015. All new employees must comply with OASV requirements, including proof of influenza vaccination for NSW staff entering Residential Aged Care Facilities or working in NSW Health RACFs.
