We offer excellent employee conditions with extensive support, professional development and future leadership opportunities.As the Allied Health Assistant your responsibilities will include:Support members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of clinical care to patients/familiesWork under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goalsFacilitate group and individual therapy sessionsComplete administrative tasks in an efficient mannerMinimum Requirements:Certificate III or IV in Allied Health AssistanceDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, including receiving feedback.Ability to follow directions, prioritise workload and manage time effectivelyDemonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy rolesExperience working with or providing care to people in a health care setting or a basic understanding of exercise programsWorking towards a Masters or bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational TherapyWhy Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
