Non-Executive Director Role
Community Care Foundation has served the disability sector for 30 years, and currently employs 135 staff, servicing over 500 participants across the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay area. As a Not-for-Profit organisation with a maximum of nine Directors, our vision and community impact is based around participant outcomes. The Board is currently comprised of people with lived disability experience and professionals in Business, Law, Governance, Risk and Workforce Planning.
Expertise vacancy
The board is seeking a New Board Member with significant financial/accounting credentials preferably with a CPA or MBA to become a director. Ideally, that person will integrate into the board as well as be involved in the Finance & Sustainability Committee. The board meets monthly with the Finance & Sustainability Committee meeting separately from the board. This role would ideally suit a retired or semi-retired professional looking to continue to use their skills, or a Professional with the ability to give
2 to 3 hours per week to this role.
The appointment
This is a voluntary role, as part of a non-for-profit board, provides strategic direction and governance to our organisation. The normal term of appointment is for 3 years and is renewable at the AGM.
