About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mental Health Clinician (AHP) to join a flexible CYMHS team in regional Western Australia. This is a critical intake role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to early intervention and quality mental health care for children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for children and young people presenting with mental health concerns.
Triage referrals and determine appropriate pathways for care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community services.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Provide brief interventions and crisis support as needed.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy.
Full AHPRA or AASW registration.
Demonstrated experience in CYMHS intake or similar mental health triage roles.
Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to start immediately or within a short timeframe.
