Visual Arts Teacher Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Visual Arts teacher to join our growing Secondary School community.
This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing at the start of 2026. There is flexibility to accommodate part-time positions by negotiation.
The ideal candidate will have teaching experience in Secondary. Experience in teaching Year 11 and 12 Visual Arts General is preferred but not essential.
Support is provided from the Head of Department and the classes are well-resourced.
About Our College
Austin Cove Baptist College of South Yunderup is a co-educational College that commenced in 2011 and currently has approximately 780 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
The College is situated in the Austin Lakes development just east of Mandurah and provides a high standard of education in a safe and caring environment within a Christian context.
Key Selection Criteria
* To have a personal faith and commitment to Jesus including regular church attendance and a lifestyle consistent with the expectations of Christian faith.
* Be a qualified teacher registered with the relevant authority, hold a Working with Children Check and have a commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
Desirable Qualities for the Role
* Be highly motivated and organised.
* Have demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum requirements set by the relevant authority.
* Have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing programs from Year 7-12.
* Be approachable, a good listener and an effective communicator.
* Have a commitment to pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
