In 2025, we're taking things to the next level with exciting new investments in packaging decoration and high-speed digital printing. We're installing the Velox Digital Printer — a state-of-the-art, direct-to-shape digital printing solution, the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. The Role
The Digital Operator Technician will be responsible for operating and supporting our digital printing line, ensuring efficient production while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and equipment performance.
This role will work across a rotating Day and Afternoon shift roster with the opportunity for overtime as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and monitor the digital printing line to meet production targets and customer specifications
* Troubleshoot operational issues and perform routine adjustments to maintain print quality and machine performance
* Support preventative maintenance and assist with basic mechanical and electrical rectifications in line with asset strategy
* Conduct quality checks, record results, and ensure compliance with production and Helio standards
* Perform machine changeovers and support continuous improvement initiatives across workflow and efficiency
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment, including material handling and adherence to 5S principles
What We're Looking For
* Experience operating machinery in a FMCG or digital printing environment
* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands‐on troubleshooting or maintenance exposure
* Ability to interpret production data and work with computer‐based systems
* A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
* Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
