About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing funding contracts, reporting, and providing support to our BC Friendship Centres.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain large amounts of information in an organized manner
* Ensure that contracts are correct, managed in a timely manner, and deadlines are met
* Provide support with reporting and connection to our BC Friendship Centres
* Work closely with a fellow Contract Administrator and the Contracts Manager
Requirements:
* Two years experience working in an administrative capacity
* Two years experience working in a financial and administrative capacity
* Experience working with Indigenous community and service organizations
* Strong PC software skills including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Excel)
* Understanding of not-for-profit accounting concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
* Demonstrated commitment to the unique needs of Indigenous community members
* Ability to problem solve and discern when additional support from the team may be required
* Enjoys working as part of a team, while also able to manage one's own workload with minimal direction or supervision

* Three weeks paid vacation (plus additional time off during office closure at the end of December)
