The role of a teacher involves delivering academic and wellbeing programs, supporting the delivery of vocational training programs, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve educational, wellbeing, and vocational objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering lessons aligned with established guidelines and parameters
- Producing and distributing student reports at the end of each semester
- Collaborating constructively with all staff members to develop and evaluate curriculum
- Responding to the needs of students, parents, and the wider community to ensure high-quality service standards are met
Required qualifications and skills include:
- Holding a relevant Bachelor degree and current Queensland Teacher Registration
- Possessing experience in English or Maths
- Ability to plan and prepare teaching programs for students at risk of disengagement
- Effective communication skills, including interpersonal skills
- First Aid and CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
