ICT Test Manager – State Government Contract
Location: Cockburn Central, WA
Rate: $100 per hour + super
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Duration: 16-month contract
Join a Leading State Government Team in a Key ICT Test Manager role
Key responsibilities:
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to execute accurate, timely and relevant project testing activities.
* Oversee and coordinate ICT project testing activities including test plans and test cases, across various digital delivery projects, and contribute to development and maintenance of project testing strategy.
* Provide reports on testing outcomes including defects and issues uncovered associated with test cases. Communicate and disseminate reports to relevant stakeholders.
* Ensure test environments are properly configured, maintained, and fit for purpose, supporting effective testing throughout the software development lifecycle, including designing, implementing, and managing test environments.
* Maintain current knowledge of contemporary testing methodology, best practices, and tools.
* Develop testing strategy and framework throughout all phases of functional and non-functional testing including test plan development, automation, scheduling, and QA reporting.
* Responsible for team & vendor management, overall use of resources and initiation of corrective action where required for the testing activities.
Essential required skills and experience:
* Considerable experience (minimum 5 years) in the management of ICT solution testing activities for complex and/or high impact solutions with large user base.
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to communicate complex information in a clear, articulate, and compelling manner to engage and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strategic thinker by understanding strategic objectives that influence work goals.
* Promotes and adopts a positive and balanced approach to work. Demonstrates self-awareness and a commitment to personal development by self-evaluating performance and seeking feedback from others.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively and lead in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of team goals.
Desirable Criteria
* Relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications.
* ISTQB Certification
* Experience in the Public Sector
