The Role
Applications are invited from qualified classroom teachers for a specialist role teaching VCE Systems Engineering at our Caulfield Campus. This is a permanent full time position commencing January ****. The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for engaging and challenging students and for utilising learning technologies. Experience teaching Science, Design or Mathematics at a Middle School level will be highly regarded.
Key Duties
Review and assess students at the beginning of each program
Provide a flexible program that caters for individual students
Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research based knowledge of how students learn
Evaluate personal teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning
Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture
Provide reports within school standards and timelines
Actively participate in professional development activities
Embrace a culture of collaboration to enhance student learning
Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
Skills And Experience
Experience in teaching VCE Systems Engineering Units 1-4 is essential
Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to students' academic and personal growth
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
Committed to ongoing professional development, keeping up-to-date with current trends, and maintaining a proactive attitude.
Holds a current VIT Registration along with specialised teaching qualifications in Systems Engineering or related fields.
