We are currently seeking dedicated support workers, who wish to make a difference in the everyday lives of NDIS participants as we experience growth across Toowoomba, Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan.
The Position
Our client is a young woman living with mental health challenges who needs experienced and compassionate carers (Female Only) to provide her support. Experience in mental health will be highly regarded. Carers need to be able to implement positive behaviour support plan therefore previous experience will be highly regarded.
You will be working independently and in a team and have the flexibility to work across a variety of shifts including weekdays and weekends. The position job type is casual. Shift length is 8hrs and flexible.
General Duties
* As directed by the Client Service Manager, and in-line with the client’s NDIS goals, duties may include:
* Personal care
* Light domestic duties
* Write and submit required reports.
* Community access
* Other duties as required.

Skills and Competencies
Competent writing, comprehension, and verbal skills.
Confident use of hoist and mobility aids
Proficient computer skills, with easy access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Ability to follow instructions and work within the limitations of the position.
Ability to work independently.
Requirements
Either have or willing to obtain a Certificate III in Disability
First Aid and CPR
Current Queensland driver's license
Reliable vehicle
You will be required to apply for or hold a current blue card and yellow card (or NDIS Worker Screening)
