Supporting more than 250 clients across metropolitan and regional Victoria and only continuing to grow, we want the people who join us to also believe disability support should enable a life of independence and dignity.To do a great job, you'll need:Experience supporting people with a physical disability including transfers/use of equipment and confident in hoistingExperience in personal care (showering and dressing)Assistance with Domestic dutiesEnthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.Have great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with our clientWilling to work with a care team approach and incorporate the guidance of professionals, including supporting clients to undertake their physio programs and community access.Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our values.Willing to work varied shifts with varied hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends together with some short shifts, sleepovers and active night shifts.
