What you will be doing
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Identify cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier consolidation opportunities.
- Conduct market research and evaluate suppliers' capabilities, financial stability, and ethical practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and contractual agreements.
- Draft, review, and finalize contracts ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously monitor supplier performance and address issues.
- Analyze total cost of ownership and conduct cost-benefit analysis to optimize procurement decisions.
- Develop and manage procurement budgets, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and industry trends impacting sourcing activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and resource utilization.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in strategic sourcing and procurement.

To be successful in this role you will have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Strategic Sourcing Specialist or similar role in procurement with a track record of delivering measurable results.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, conduct financial analysis, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills; ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in contract management and familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, anticipate future trends, and develop innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in sourcing tool Coupa and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
