Making a Difference with Retail Banking Services Finance
Retail Banking Services Finance acts as a partner to the Retail Banking Services business unit and other business units to help them succeed with the bank's goals and their responsibilities.
We provide business performance information, financial analysis, and advice on the Home Lending product portfolio to support operational and strategic decisions.
Delivering Business Insights for Customer Success
* Deliver regular business insights on the CSL distribution channel, including critical insights on proprietary/broker competitive landscapes.
* Conduct financial modeling and analysis to guide optimal business decisions, including lender productivity, FTE reporting, and expenses.
* Facilitate the planning, cascading, and maintenance of lender goals.
* Build and maintain productive relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders, including RBS Finance teams and Home Lending Distribution.
* Perform ad hoc reviews/deep dives into business/financial performance as required.
* Prepare and present outputs/conclusions as required.
Key Qualities for Success
* Graduate qualifications in a numerate discipline (finance, business, or economics).
* Strong commercial, financial, and/or management accounting skills.
* Ability to manage and present to senior stakeholders, including Executive General Manager level.
* Proven track record of understanding industry trends and translating them into business outcomes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
