We’re seeking an inspiring Centre Director to lead Good Shepherd Childcare Service and Kindergarten, located in the heart of Springfield Lakes — a service deeply connected to its school and local community.
In this role, you’ll lead with intention, nurture a high-performing team, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where 83 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years can learn, grow, and belong. Our service is open from 6am - 6pm Monday to Friday and you will be working Full‑Time hours.
About the Role
* Lead the day‑to‑day operations and overall performance of the service
* Deliver high‑quality, inclusive early learning programs aligned to NQF and EYLF
* Foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children and families
* Inspire, coach, and develop your team to achieve their full potential
* Build strong relationships with families, the school, and wider community

What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience as a Centre Director or Service Manager
* Hold current Child Protection Training (CHCPRT025 or CHCPRT026)
* Diploma (or higher) in Children’s Services (ACECQA‑approved)
* Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
* Strong knowledge of NQF, NQS, EYLF, and QKLG
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Experience with Xplor (highly regarded)
* A commitment to child safety and continuous improvement
