In the role of Business Banking Executive, Sydney City South, you will join the well-regarded Sydney City South team that’s winning together.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
o Develop, lead and execute business development strategy, for both existing and new to bank customers, to ensure delivery of the Business & Private Bank business plan
o Work with the Complex Lending Solutions and Deal Structuring & Execution teams in the preparation of business lending proposals, including obtaining and analysing business and industry information, and ongoing portfolio management
o Initiate solutions to stimulate customer growth in the local market and implement yearly business plans for your complex portfolio
o Support the delivery of the local area’s performance as measured through customer advocacy, financial metrics and employee engagement
o Accountable for the execution of risk appetite and culture as per the B&PB Risk Appetite.
o Significant Profit & Loss and Balance sheet accountability, with significant Revenue responsibilities, Lending footings and Deposits
o Lead and message required Change in our business
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
o Significant banking background in either business, private, corporate, credit, or specialised business, or equivalent professional experience in a related career.
o Strategic customer relationship and operational management e.g. maximising income mix, pipeline management, prospecting and acquisition, account planning, workload planning, etc.
o Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience.
o Experience and ability to engage, partner and influence stakeholders at all levels.
o Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment but also with a continuous improvement lens and comfortable with autonomy.
o A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
o Leadership in driving People and Change management initiatives.
