Role The Australian Defence College (ADC) delivers learning activities to all levels of the Australian Qualifications Framework. Additionally, the ADC delivers other events including conferences, symposia, and other forums. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, conduct, and achievement of the Evaluation and Assurance Forward Work Plan.
About our Team The ADC Evaluation and Assurance Team charter is to support the continuous improvement of courses and programs delivered at the ADC. The charter is achieved by evaluating and assuring ADC courses and programs to identify learning gaps and to measure their quality, fidelity, and effectiveness. The successful candidate will work in an integrated team of ADF members, Australian Public Service (APS) employees, and contractor staff. They will also liaise and collaborate with stakeholders across all Defence Groups.
Our Ideal Candidate
Knowledge and experience in the use of the learning policies and procedures;
Knowledge and experience in the use of the evaluation models;
Skills and experience in leading research, evaluation, and assurance activities;
Knowledge and experience in applying ethical principles to evaluation and assurance activities;
The ability to design, develop, and maintain the evaluation and assurance system;
The ability to adapt and refine work practices to suit organisational needs within policy guidelines;
Strong oral and writing skills to present findings and data;
Experience in the use of record management principles and systems;
Supervision knowledge and experience;
Computer literacy - e.g. Word, Excel, online survey platforms and data analysis tools.
