Casual or part‐time cleaner positions are available across a rotating 7‐day roster, including morning, evening, night, and afternoon shifts.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high standard of cleaning services.
* Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures.
* Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients.
* Act in accordance with all manual handling protocols.
* Assist the wider hospital teams to ensure patient satisfaction is always achieved.
* Demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscope's policies and processes, code of conduct and by participating in yearly performance appraisals and mandatory education.
* Maintain skills and standards of customer service and ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times.
* Support Healthscope's safety and quality improvement in all aspects of safety including Work Health & Safety.
What You'll Need To Succeed
* Demonstrated experience as a cleaner or infectious cleaning specialist in a hospital, aged care or medical setting.
* Have enthusiasm, drive and passion to prepare and maintain an appropriate work area to the highest standard of excellence.
* Time‐management skills.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Be able to commit to the flexibility of working Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster, including afternoon, evening and occasional night shifts.
Required Certifications and Checks
* Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check.
* Applicants will be required to provide a WWCC (where applicable).
* Applicants will be required to provide evidence of right to work in Australia.
* Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
