We are now seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Melbourne team, supporting clients across both sectors to deliver high-quality, strategic procurement outcomes.
About the Role
Lead end-to-end strategic procurement and advisory projects, from planning through to contract award
Provide expert advice to government clients and private sector organisations engaging with government on procurement strategy, policy, governance, and delivery
Design and implement procurement approaches that align with government priorities and maximise value for money
Develop tender and evaluation strategies for complex government and construction-related procurements
Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across government agencies and industry
Contribute to thought leadership in strategic procurement through insights, workshops, and online publications
Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
About You You are a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in procurement and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.
3+ years’ experience in government procurement, management consulting, commercial advisory, contract management, or working with private sector organisations delivering government projects
3+ years' experience in a consulting or advisory environment, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deliver high-quality outcomes
Strong understanding of Victorian Government procurement frameworks, policies, and governance
Demonstrated experience delivering complex procurement projects from strategy through to delivery
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior decision-makers
A proactive, analytical mindset with a focus on delivering practical, outcomes-driven solutions
Experience in construction or infrastructure procurement is highly regarded, but not essential
Experience with tools such as Microsoft 365, Monday.com, Clockify, and Employment Hero (desirable but not essential).
