Job Description
As a Child Protection Caseworker, you will be working closely with parents, family members, children, and other agencies to identify and address safety concerns. Your primary focus will be on supporting families to overcome hardships and develop safe and loving homes.
* Work sensitively and respectfully with vulnerable individuals and families.
* Collaborate with other agencies to share information and resources.
* Develop and implement individualized plans to support families in need.
* Conduct regular home visits to monitor progress and provide support.
* Manage complex cases and situations, including those involving high-risk clients.
* Participate in court processes, including preparing court documents and attending hearings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A relevant degree in Social Work or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license.
* Working with Children clearance.
