Job Summary
The Staff Development Nurse will be responsible for delivering education and training in relation to clinical practices.
They will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate orientation, education and training at the ward or unit level. The successful applicant must promote patient safety and quality of care within their scope of practice.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing education programs for nursing staff, working with staff to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to improve clinical practice, and ensuring all education programs are aligned with health service policy and standards.
