Experienced FULL TIME Wall and Floor Tilers (marble & stone experience essential) - more than one position.
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare floor and wall surfaces for the laying of tiles. This will involve cleaning surfaces, removing old tiles and grout and making surfaces smooth and ready for current tiles.
* Organise work by studying plans, taking measurements and marking surfaces to minimise risks of any errors.
* Place tiles accurately avoiding unnecessary breakages when cutting.
* Use appropriate skills and specialised knowledge when laying terrazzo and stone floors.
* Ensure all excess grout is removed and floors and walls are left clean.
* Clean equipment and work areas when finished.
Essential Skills:
* Demonstrated Experience in laying terrazzo and stone.
* Demonstrated Experience in laying slate, marble and glass tiles.
* Demonstrated Experience in laying mosaic tiles.
* Demonstrated Experience in waterproofing.
* Valuable communication skills.
* Fit, robust and energetic.
* Self-motivated.
* A team worker / also capable of working autonomously.
* Able to work well with co-workers, contractors and clients.
* Ability to understand the Customer's needs.
Schedule: 8 hour shift.
Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay.
Work Location: In person.
