About the role:
Our client is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join their friendly, experienced, and highly supportive team. As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will take on a diverse clinical caseload while also contributing to the development and mentoring of junior clinicians within the team. You will play an important role in maintaining high clinical standards, supporting best practice delivery, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the service.
Responsibilities
* Providing comprehensive speech pathology assessments and evidence‐based intervention for clients with complex communication needs
* Managing a varied caseload across ABI, developmental disabilities, and complex mental health presentations
* Delivering high‐quality therapy services to adults, with some work involving children aged 7+ and adolescents
* Providing clinical guidance, mentoring, and informal supervision to junior clinicians and new graduates
* Contributing to case discussions, care planning, and interdisciplinary team meetings
* Supporting clinical decision‐making and promoting best‐practice standards across the team
* Participating in service development, quality improvement initiatives, and professional learning activities
* Working collaboratively across multiple settings including clinic, telehealth, homes, community placements, hospitals, and justice environments

Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
* SPA registration
* Substantial experience with adults in complex communication needs
* Confidence working independently while supporting junior staff
* Strong interpersonal, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills
* Commitment to evidence‐based, client‐centred practice
