Job Description Associate Director - Engagement Manager (P&C Insurance Domain) Base Location will be Brisbane (80%), Should be ready to travel to Sydney and Melbourne (20%) Objective of the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engagement Manager to lead client-facing data and analytics programs in the P&C Insurance domain. This role combines consultative engagement, domain expertise, and project delivery leadership, acting as a strategic partner for our clients in Australia. The individual will work closely with WNS Analytics teams at offshore and global stakeholders to co-create solutions, ensure successful execution, and deliver measurable business outcomes across the insurance value chain. Mandatory : Insurance domain (Motor, Home, Workers Compensation, Commercial, CTP) Key Responsibilities Client Engage ment & Advisory Focused on Consultative engagement: Effective in proactive engagement, to suggest and cocreate solutions to relevant use cases and then work with internal WNS Analytics stakeholders to execute Act as the primary interface for Insurance clients in Australia, developing strong executive-level relationships. Understand client pain points, strategic goals, and use cases; shape data-driven solutions in collaboration with internal analytics teams. Provide thought leadership and consultative guidance on analytics-led transformation within the Insurance domain (Motor, Home, Workers Compensation, Commercial, CTP) - Mandatory. Project Delivery & Program Oversight Own the end-to-end delivery of data and analytics projects, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with client expectations, timelines, budgets, and success metrics. Drive agile delivery practices, manage delivery risks and issues, and enable transparent governance. Domain & Technical Leadership Understanding of business principles and the ability to align project goals with overall business objectives. Leverage deep understanding of insurance processes (Claims or Contact Center Operations). Translate business challenges into analytics solutions using advanced analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and data engineering. Serve as a credible SME and trusted advisor on insurance analytics strategy, use case development, and data product design. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Liaise with cross-functional WNS teams including Analytics COEs, GenAI, Data Engineering, and Business Transformation. Foster collaboration across geographies to enable global delivery with local context. Manage senior stakeholder communication and reporting, ensuring alignment on goals and outcomes. Problem-solving and conflict resolution: Ability to identify and resolve issues, manage conflicts, and find solutions that satisfy both the client and the company. Skills & Qualifications: Must-Have: 12 years of experience, with 8 years in Data & Analytics, 3yrs min experience into Property and Casualty Insurance, 5 years focused on client-facing and delivery roles in the Insurance sector. Must know Insurance Value Chain, Fraud, Subrogation etc Strong experience in delivering analytics and AI/ML solutions across functions like claims, policy management, new business and broker performance. Demonstrated consultative engagement skills – shaping and influencing analytics initiatives aligned to business strategy. Experience in toolsets of Tableau, Python, SQL and AWS suite (basic knowledge) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building long-term client relationships. Desirable: Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP a plus) with a strong delivery mindset. Experience with Self-Service BI implementation in insurance.
